Would you like to participate in a top-class cross-country skiing event? Then the Galtür Nordic Volumes may be just the thing for you. At the end of March, three great races take place as part of the event series. Whether you’re a seasoned cross-country skier or a beginner: The event boasts race formats for all skill levels. Even the youngest fans of the Nordic sport get the chance to demonstrate their skills.

Not sure which race is right for you? Read on to find out more about the individual formats! For fast ones, we recommend the Nordic Sprint Race, which kicks off the cross-country skiing event. If you would like to put your stamina to the test, the Cross Country Climb up to Bielerhöhe is a great choice – breathtaking views included. Ambitious young cross-country skiers can compete in the Kids & Juniors Race.
Where ÖSV athletes hit the trails
The cross-country ski area of Galtür and Ischgl is not only a favourite with amateur cross-country skiers – it’s also a popular choice with professional athletes. For instance, Teresa Stadlober and Lukas Mrkonjic, two world-class cross-country skiers, have chosen the trails surrounding the picturesque mountain village as their training ground – thanks to the area’s excellent, varied trails. Both ÖSV athletes enjoy the vast selection of perfectly groomed trails, the infrastructure and the offers off the trails. The pros are honing their skills on the cross-country ski trails of Galtür – a sure sign that the region’s trails live up to the highest standards!
