Ischgl Silvrettabahn - Ischgl Silvrettabahn, 27.40 km, 968 m
Description
A long endurance route with lots of nature experiences and the possibility of stopping off at the Berggasthof Bodenalpe. The route runs 13.7 km through the Fimbatal valley to the Heidelberger Hütte which is on Swiss soil. An excellent level of fitness is required for this lengthy route. It follows a steep uphill section at the start to the Schwarzwassersee and Pardatscher-See lakes which are perfect for a rest. From here, the route along the Fimbabach becomes even more beautiful and idyllic! The route initially follows an asphalt section before becoming gravel and takes you past herds of horses and cows – a truly magnificent experience in nature. The Berggasthof Bodenalpe offers a chance for a refreshment break. From here, the ride takes you further into the pure natural setting uphill throughout to the Heidelberger Hütte lodge. The return stretch runs back to Ischgl along the same route.
