Description
This tour starts at the valley station of the Silvrettabahn in Ischgl. On the
Rossbodenweg it goes first to Mathon. From there starts a
forest path that leads through a forest into the Larein valley. Along the Larein stream you finally reach the Larein Alpe (1,850 m). The alp lies on a small plateau and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain peaks. Park your bike in the bike depot. Afterwards you continue on foot. The hike leads through the middle of a wonderfully fragrant pine forest directly to the picturesque Berglisee (2,115 m).
Tip: Stop at the Larein Alpe with its own alpine dairy or pack provisions and enjoy a picnic in a breathtaking natural setting (barbecue stations available at the Berglisee).
Arrival
The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.
