From 19 to 21 September 2025, two exciting sports events will take place in See & Kappl: the Wanderbird Trophy Kappl & See and the Geigerman in See.
The Wanderbird Trophy is a challenging Hike & Fly event, where participants plan and strategize their own routes. Alongside the main race day on Saturday, the weekend also includes workshops, a "testival", and an awards ceremony.
The Geigerman is a relay triathlon combining trail running, paragliding, and mountain biking. Participants undergo several stages starting in the picturesque valley and finishing on the Medrigalm. Both events also offer a vibrant programme including children's activities and culinary delights.
3rd Geigerman
For those for whom mere paragliding is not enough, the relay triathlon Geigerman is just the ticket! In this competition, paragliding is spiced up with trail running and mountain biking, all in full: the runner starts in the valley, hands over to the flyer on the Medrigalm, who then sends the mountain biker off in the valley, who finishes the race on the Medrigalm. There's prize money waiting for the best teams and individuals!

- Courses: between See valley (Sonnenhof) and Medrigjochbahn mountain station
- Runner (GPX-Download): Sonnenhof (start) – Medrigjochbahn mountain station
- Flyer (GPX-Download): Run: Medrigjochbahn mountain station – paragliding launch site (approx. 100m elevation) | Flight: paragliding launch site – via Geigerhang – Sonnenhof (Every pilot must ensure they have a functioning GPS device, which can be read out after the flight.)
