The 15th Paznaun Market Day will take place on 31 August 2024. Visitors can look forward to many traditional delicacies such as Paznaun Alpine cheese and regional products from various exhibitors at the Silvretta car park in Ischgl. A colourful supporting programme with musical highlights, the election of the Cheese Queen 2024 and a show cooking with award-winning chef Martin Sieberer round off the market day.

When 10 alpine pastures and 3 valley dairies from Ischgl, Galtür, Kappl and See come together at the Silvretta car park, it's market day in Ischgl again. Once again this summer, the unique Paznaun alpine cheese, which is made purely from Paznaun milk, takes centre stage at the gourmet festival. Gourmets are offered many other regional delicacies such as bread, bacon, honey, schnapps and liqueurs at the market stalls. The culinary offerings are complemented by local exhibitors with traditional and modern handicrafts, from Swiss stone pine cushions to wooden jewellery and felt bags.

Colourful festival programme

In keeping with tradition, the market day opens with the entry of the Navis and Mariatal brass bands and a welcome from the guests of honour. This is followed by other atmospheric programme items: the election of the Cheese Queen 2024, a children's entertainment programme with the Paznaun Adventure Club and a climbing tower of the Ischgl Mountain Rescue Service as well as a show cooking with award-winning chef Martin Sieberer. Around and in the large marquee, the Ischgl brass band will provide guests with plenty of culinary and musical highlights throughout the day.
